F.A.Q

If you're embarking on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure or planning a weekend escape, you might be unsure about where to start. Perhaps it's your first-ever vacation, or maybe you're utilizing the expertise of a travel agent for the first time. No matter what doubts or queries you have, rest assured that I've compiled answers to the most frequently asked questions I come across.

Are your services really free?

Yes my services are FREE. When you book a trip with me, I will get paid by the supplier of your trip. So if you book a cruise with X Cruises, X Cruises pays me.

Is it going to be more expensive to book through you?

No. Travel agents still get access to great rates and extras. If you can find the exact same itinerary for less elsewhere, I may be able to price match. You have nothing to lose!

What services do you provide?

  • Ocean, river, luxury and small-ship cruises - all cruise lines and destinations
  • Pre and post-cruise extensions and independent shore excursions
  • All-inclusive resort vacations throughout the Caribbean and Mexico
  • Guided vacations, worldwide
  • Family vacations
  • Group travel
  • Custom, multi-destination trip planning
  • Domestic travel and city stays
  • Vacation add-ons - flights, excursions, sightseeing tours, rental cars, transportation
  • Travel insurance

I will help you with organizing, reserving, and overseeing every aspect of your travel or vacation, regardless of the type. Worried about missing a payment deadline? I will send you a reminder. Need a comprehensive packing list? I will provide one tailored to your needs. Want to surprise your partner with a delightful arrangement of chocolate-covered strawberries and champagne in your stateroom? Consider it done—I will handle the arrangements.

In addition, I will go the extra mile by continuously monitoring for any fresh discounts that may be applicable to your trip, ensuring you secure the best possible deal. Such personalized service is not available when booking directly with the companies!

This all sounds great, but why can't I just book my trip on Expedia?

You can, but you shouldn't. We are here to provide you with personalized service and serve as an advocate, and advisor for your trip. When you request a quote, you won't have to look through thousands of reviews to try and find out which trip is right for you. We'll use our expertise to help you choose the best fit for your needs. That way you won't end up on a "booze cruise" when what you really wanted was a relaxing upscale experience.

In addition, when you book with a company such as Expedia, they become your travel agent and help will have to come from them. Recent cancellations due to COVID-19 have really shown the importance of using a travel agent. When you have an issue, getting through to a real person at a large company can take HOURS of waiting on hold. Save yourself the stress and let us do that for you.

My trip is booked. When will I receive my travel documents?

We are in a digital age, and with that comes electronic documents. To save a tree, I prefer to save documents to PDFs and email them to my travelers, which they can in-turn save them to their device or print, whichever they prefer. For those who like paper documents, I can provide these in person or by USPS priority mail.

Will I need a passport for my trip? Will I need a travel visa for my destination?

This all depends on where you are going. For U.S. citizens, all international destinations by air require valid passports that must be valid for at least six months following the trip return date. If your passport is up for renewal soon, apply as soon as possible, as processing is taking longer than usual. For cruises that depart and return from the same U.S. port to any destination in the Western Hemisphere, a Driver's License and Birth Certificate will suffice. However, a passport is highly recommended in the event it becomes necessary to fly home from a foreign port in an emergency. *Non-US citizens must be legal residents of the U.S. with a permanent U.S. address and a U.S. credit card. Contact your government consulate for exact documents necessary for travel.

What is the best way to contact you if I need assistance with a new or existing trip?

My preferred method of communication is email or text so that all our correspondence is clearly documented. Of course, I welcome phone calls, and if I am not immediately available, your call will be returned promptly.

I made a cruise booking directly with the cruise line. Can I transfer the booking to you for handling, and what's the benefit for me?

Absolutely - I encourage it! You will receive $25 - $100 onboard credit, depending on the length and cost of the cruise, and receive the benefit of my knowledge and expertise. You can also depend on prompt answers to all your questions and assistance when you need it! Note: reservation must be transferred within 30 days of booking, and before final payment.
